Introduction to Design Thinking
The Design Thinking course designed for do-ers. Once you're finished with this course, you'll be prepared to implement Design Thinking in your organization.
Design thinking draws on logic, imagination, intuition and logical reasoning to create outcomes that benefit the end user (i.e the customer). A design mindset is not problem-focused, it’s solution-focused and action-oriented. It involves both analysis and imagination.
This course focuses on understanding the core tenets of the Design Thinking process while guiding students through the process to experiential learning and sharing of best practices. The course shows how even the most rigid of industries, i.e banking and finance, has managed to utilise the Design Thinking methodology to keep ahead of the ever competitive global economy.
